Why a "Model of Admin Know-HowTM"?

Simply stated, this is a model, something to shape your business on -[ Model: use (a system, procedure, etc.) as an example to follow or imitate - something that a copy can be based on because it is an extremely good example of its type ] to follow or copy the successful actions of, and the five programs in this - which forms the very core of 'shaping' your business putting these elements in place so that whatever you now add to by way of management systems, these are the 'building blocks' upon which the systems are built on.

The BEC (Business Expansion Club) is made up of a cross section of like-minded business people, from all industries. Mostly are business owners, or they are working a second business. Some members work within a business as a staff member and who want to increase and improve their knowledge and skills in some way, and who, perhaps, envisage running their own business some day in the near future.

Here are the primary reasons - and our members have some of their own too :

  • Firstly, it is a 'good habit' to follow that sees you, as the business owner or key player, focus on what matters, your business, and how to improve it through attaining: workable tools and systems of management, motivation, sharing with others
  • Get new or refreshed bite sized information that is focused on a specific part of business management, each week
  • Be accountable to yourself and your fellow members to grow your business through implimentation of what you learn, and report back your successes
  • Unlike any other 'Networking' group, Kyalami BEC shares key, workable pieces of 'management technology' known to be workable (proven and field tested) so that you get it, understand it in context to your business and in the workshops do practicle exercises to 'use them' or demonstrate how they would apply in your workspace - so you start thinking with the new information right away
  • Networking with others and sharing their successes, asking questions, getting 'other references' as well as getting leads for prospects, employment referrals, and more
  • Defining and sharing who your "Ideal customer" is, to yourself firstly, then to the group as well as sharing your 'elevator pitch' of who you are, what you do, why you do it and what your USP (Unique Selling Proposition) or Value Proposition is

There are a few different memberships available, beginning with an Individual Member = R1000 annual fee (a flat once-off payment), next up is a General Member at R2500 (or R250 per month). There are 5 different membership levels, all offering different features and abilities [General Member, Company Member, Corporate Member, Charter Member, CEO Member]

Weekly workshops are covering the key areas a business needs to be fluent on in order to flourish and prosper. These cover the essential areas of: leadership, sales, marketing, finance, executive qualities, hiring, communications, a true group, lead generation, management by statistics, to mention but a few. These are usually surveyed and are delivered by demand.

These workshops are part of the weekly meet ups and are part of the lineup. This is standard operating procedure at a Kyalami BEC.
